If I'm not mistaken, the red packet is the one given to every student at Gakuen Alice on new year's day.
Mikan stored it inside her kimono (exactly where, I'm not too sure but the Japanese normaly store their wallets etc inside their kimono)

Chapters 18 through 28 have been scanlated a long time ago. I do not know where it on the internet. You'll just have to creative to find them. The scanlators may have already taken them them, but I had saw them online.
It would almost if you guys also did volume 4 and 5...But that is completely up to you
